Hijri New Year greetings to all those who are celebrating
31 Aug 2019
Muslims all around the world are celebrating the beginning of a new Hijri year, and we here at Addu Medicity wish a very happy Islamic new year to all those who are celebrating.
The beginning of the Islamic calendar is marked by the first of the month Muharram, with the rise of the moon as the sun sets on the last day of Dhul-Hijjah. The name "Muharram" is said to mean "forbidden", which, for many Muslims symbolizes non-violence and reflection.
As we embark on the new journey this year brings us, we wish you all a rewarding, blissful and healthy year ahead.
Once again, happy new year!
